Privacy Policy
IrisCam is designed to keep camera and photo processing on your device. This policy explains the limited information used for purchases and the optional Share Your Experience reward program.
1. Information processed on your device
Camera frames, captured photos, face landmarks, composition analysis, filters, beauty adjustments, edit recipes, preferences, and IrisCam library items are processed or stored locally. IrisCam does not upload camera frames or photo contents to its servers. Photos are written to Apple Photos only when you capture or save with the relevant option enabled.
2. Information collected for purchases
Apple processes payments. RevenueCat processes an anonymous app user identifier, product identifiers, purchase history, subscription status, entitlement status, and related transaction timestamps so IrisCam can display products, complete purchases, restore access, provide Customer Center, and understand purchase performance. IrisCam and RevenueCat do not receive your payment-card number from Apple.
3. Optional reward submissions
If you voluntarily submit a public social-media post for the Share Your Experience reward, IrisCam sends a random installation identifier, an anonymous RevenueCat customer identifier, the public URL you submit, submission timestamps, and review status to the IrisCam reward service. If you allow notifications after submitting, the service also receives an APNs device token, its sandbox or production environment, and your app locale. The video itself is not uploaded to IrisCam.
4. Permissions
- Camera: live preview, composition guidance, and capture.
- Photos: saving results, showing the recent camera-roll thumbnail when permitted, and validating saved Live Photos.
- Notifications: optional reward-status alerts. Notification permission is requested only after a reward submission and is not required to use IrisCam or receive a reward.
5. Service providers and disclosure
IrisCam uses Apple for App Store purchases, Photos, and push notifications; RevenueCat for purchase and entitlement infrastructure; and Cloudflare for the reward-review service and its database. These providers process information only to provide their services. IrisCam does not sell personal information, run third-party advertising, or track activity across other companies’ apps or websites.
6. Retention and deletion
Local photos and work items remain until you delete them or the app. Purchase records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat according to their policies and legal obligations. Completed reward records may be retained for up to 24 months for fraud prevention, support, and accounting; webhook delivery records may be retained for up to 90 days. Invalid push tokens are disabled. You may request deletion of IrisCam reward-service data by emailing viis.rev@gmail.com and including the Support ID shown in IrisCam Settings. We may retain records required for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
7. Security, transfers, and children
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and access to the review service is restricted. Apple, RevenueCat, and Cloudflare may process data in countries other than yours under their applicable safeguards. IrisCam is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.
8. Your choices and contact
You can decline optional reward submission and notifications, manage permissions in iOS Settings, manage subscriptions through Apple, and request access to or deletion of reward-service data. Questions and privacy requests: viis.rev@gmail.com.
